As a mechanical design engineer, you’ll be indispensable to the engineering team. You’ll be designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems. Your main responsibilities will be: 
  • Designing and optimizing complex mechanical components and rotating systems
  • Developing technical solutions that prioritize performance, reliability, and manufacturability
  • Conducting strength and stress analyses to evaluate structures and components 
  • Selecting suitable materials for applications under high mechanical and thermal loads 
  • Creating CAD models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
  • Collaborating with colleagues from Engineering, Production, and Testing to validate and further optimize designs
  • Actively contributing to design improvements and the continuous optimization of products and processes

Work Hours

Job Requirements

You bring the following experience and knowledge to the role:
  • At least a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • At least five years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or in a comparable engineering role
  • Experience designing complex mechanical systems or high-precision rotating components
  • Knowledge of material properties, tolerances, and design principles for precision structures
  • Experience with CAD software, such as Siemens NX or SolidWorks
  • Experience with FEA analyses is a strong plus

In addition, you also possess the following:
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, as English is the working language within the organization
  • Preferably, you are proficient in Dutch (this is a plus, not a requirement!)
  • You have strong analytical skills, work with precision, and enjoy contributing ideas for innovative technical solutions
