Dow Terneuzen is seeking a Payroll Representative to support payroll delivery for Germany within the EMEAI region. This role ensures employees are paid accurately and on time, in compliance with local legislation, company policies, and agreed labor conditions. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, resolving payroll issues and contributing to a best-in-class employee experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Payroll, Time & Absence, and Data Management efficiently and accurately.
  • Process payroll information with confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Ensure timely and correct payments to employees and local authorities.
  • Perform activities according to Dow internal control and compliance frameworks.
  • Address employee payroll queries in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Support process improvements and collaborate across functions and cultures.

Working hours
You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, during regular office hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
  • Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with MS Excel, Workday, ServiceNow, ADP GlobalView Payroll, and SAP.
  • Ability to navigate high-volume operational environments.
  • Experience with internal controls and audit participation is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated with a customer service mindset and excellent stakeholder management.
