Manpower is looking for a Shift Supervisor for a company in IJmuiden.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading and coordinating offshore technician teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Developing annual operational plans and managing shift schedules in alignment with the client
  • Preparing work orders, permits, and conducting daily briefings and toolbox meetings
  • Monitoring work quality, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards
  • Serving as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to enhance performance and collaboration
  • Occasionally joining offshore projects to provide hands-on technical support and verify work quality

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position are from Monday to Friday, with occasional offshore assignments.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in offshore wind turbine operations
  • Several years of hands-on experience as a service technician, preferably with Vestas V80 turbines
  • Valid NEN 3140 and NEN 3840 certifications
  • Preferably valid GWO certificates and medical clearance (or willingness to obtain them quickly)
  • Valid VCA-VOL certification (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Valid Class B driver’s license
  • Problem-solving mindset, team spirit, and ability to handle complex offshore situations
  • Availability for 40 hours per week
