Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Customer Service Specialist for a company based in Terneuzen.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Advanced Packaging & Converting (AP&C) Business Unit within the EMEA region. You will be the main contact for customers from the moment they place their order until delivery. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that orders run smoothly and customers receive the best service.

Your main tasks include:
  • Manage the full sales order process, ensuring high customer satisfaction and timely delivery
  • Serve as the main contact for customers, sales teams, demand managers, planners, logistics, and finance teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide accurate information on pricing, product availability, delivery schedules, packaging options, and complex order processes (e.g., third-party orders, inter-company transfers, consignment)
  • Use SAP and order management systems to track orders, check inventory, lead times, transportation settings, and collaborate with planners to meet customer requirements
  • Handle customer complaints, process credits/debits/returns, resolve overdue payments, and maintain accurate customer master data and credit limits
  • Support transport optimization, export processes, and proactively solve order issues while keeping customers informed

Working hours
The office is in Terneuzen, but you can work from home most of the time. Some weeks you may work remotely five days, other weeks just one. Working hours are standard office hours.

  • SAP experience is highly desirable, intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) are preferred
  • Language requirements: Dutch, English, and German (mandatory); Italian is an advantage
