Manpower is looking for a Drone Pilot for a company in Hengelo.

As a Drone pilot, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting pre-flight planning including airspace coordination, weather checks and risk analysis
• Performing UAV launch, flight and recovery in manual, assisted and autonomous modes
• Operating EO/IR and visual payload systems for surveillance and data collection
• Ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards (VLOS and BVLOS)
• Maintaining flight logs, checklists and technical documentation
• Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and field repairs
• Collaborating with engineers, analysts and mission planners
• Supporting system improvements and operational efficiency
• Traveling internationally for missions, training and demonstrations
• Operating from multiple locations across Europe and other regions

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position are Monday to Friday during office hours (09:00 – 17:00).

• At least three years of experience as a UAV pilot (manual and autonomous operations)
• Valid UAV certifications (A1/A3, A2 and Specific)
• Proven experience in surveillance or reconnaissance missions
• Strong technical knowledge of UAV systems, avionics and telemetry
• Familiarity with European airspace regulations
• Willingness to travel internationally and stay abroad for longer periods
• Ability to work in dynamic and remote environments
• Strong communication skills and safety-first mindset
• Fluency in English (additional languages like French, Spanish or German are a plus)
