As Electronics Production Engineer, you stand at the core of engineering, production, and quality. You ensure that every electronic subsystem used in advanced UAV platforms meets the highest standards of reliability, manufacturability, and military-grade compliance. Your key responsibilities include:
Production engineering & cross-functional collaboration
- Act as the technical interface between Electronics Design, Avionics, Propulsion, Integration, and Production
- Support Procurement on component selection, obsolescence, supplier assessments, and technical feasibility
- Align with Quality teams to define, implement, and validate testing protocols
- Ensure electronic systems comply with DO-160, MIL-STD and high-reliability aerospace environments
- Support qualification and acceptance testing for assemblies and subsystems
- Lead FMEA, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions during production issues
- Develop and oversee electronic test procedures for components, boards, and full systems
- Define and validate test setups, equipment, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure documentation meets aerospace standards, including AS9100 traceability
- Provide direct technical support to Production and Integration teams
- Drive improvements in processes, documentation, standardization and lessons learned
- Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability and operational reliability

- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics
- Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing, testing, integration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and system integration
- Familiarity with military/aerospace standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD, IPC, AS9100 (required for documentation and testing)
- Experience with qualification, reliability testing, and failure analysis
- Solid communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Fluency in English due to international engineering collaboration
- Located in the Netherlands near Hengelo, or willing to relocate
- Availability of 40 hours per week
