Manpower is looking for an offshore service technician for a company in IJmuiden.

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems of offshore wind turbines
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults (electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical)
  • Repairing or replacing components and parts as needed
  • Documenting all work accurately according to established procedures
  • Mentoring, supporting, and collaborating with junior service technicians
  • Working independently and safely in compliance with offshore safety standards
  • Ensuring turbines operate at optimal performance and remain fully operational

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time permanent role are Monday to Friday, following a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off offshore rotation.

Requirements

  • Technical MBO education. At least level 3
  • WTG Vestas basic and Level 1 & 2 training
  • At least three years of experience with Vestas turbines
  • Possess or willing to obtain NEN 3140 and NEN 3840 certifications
  • Possess or willing to obtain GWO certificates + medical clearance
  • Hold a VCA-VOL certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Able to work safely and independently offshore
  • Valid driver’s license B
  • Fluent in English because of job duties. Dutch is a plus
  • Comfortable with heights, proactive, and able to guide junior colleagues
  • Team-oriented, stress-resistant, and motivated to develop in the offshore wind sector
