Your responsibilities:
- Technical leadership: Act as the technical lead for substations, develop power supply system architecture, and perform sizing calculations
- Project management: Lead all engineering activities within tenders and projects, including work plans, cost estimates, and reviews
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, project management, site installation, and commissioning teams. Manage discussions with customers and respond to site queries
- Procurement coordination: Prepare specifications, review supplier offers, and coordinate with supply chain management
- Risk management: Support risk assessments and report on opportunities and potential issues. Conduct safety observations for HSE compliance
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers, apprentices, and support teams with technical challenges
- Continuous improvement: Identify and implement ways to simplify and optimize processes

Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least five years of experience in power systems engineering for utility or industrial High & Medium Voltage substations
- Skilled in engineering processes, tools, and techniques, with knowledge of BIM considered a plus
- Strong communicator, able to work in multicultural teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive, result-oriented, and resilient under pressure
- Excellent command of Dutch and English (both written and spoken)
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and eagerness to stay ahead of new technologies
