Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Spanish speaking Payroll Specialist for Dow in Terneuzen.

As a Payroll Specialist for Spain, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing for all Spanish employees. From managing data and collaborating with HR partners to overseeing audits and system improvements — your work keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. What you’ll do:
  • Deliver payroll, time & absence, and data management services for Spain
  • Ensure accurate and timely salary payments and statutory reporting
  • Safeguard confidentiality and compliance with Spanish payroll legislation
  • Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements
  • Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal HR teams
  • Assist employees by resolving payroll-related questions quickly and accurately

Working hours
You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, during regular office hours.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Finance, or related field
  • At least five years of payroll experience
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) because of job duties
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused and self-motivated mindset

Preferred experience:
  • Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow, ADP Streamline, and/or SAP
  • Knowledge of additional European languages
  • Experience in high-volume operational environments
  • Background in audit participation or internal controls
