Manpower is looking for a wind turbine service technician in the region of Arnhem.
As a wind turbine technician, you perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines, working on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and gearbox systems. You troubleshoot faults, replace major components like generators and gearboxes, and support emergency repairs and retrofits. You work in a team, following strict health and safety procedures. Your tasks include inspections, root cause analysis, and diagnostics to ensure optimal turbine performance. Accurate completion of work orders, checklists, and reports is essential, as is reporting any incidents according to safety policies.
You will also take part in an on-call rotation during weekends and holidays. Collaboration with international colleagues across different cultures is encouraged, and flexibility and teamwork are key. You are expected to follow all customer-specific site rules and maintain a professional and safety-minded approach at all times. This role plays an important part in keeping wind turbines running efficiently and supporting a sustainable energy supply.

header-requirements
- A relevant Mid-level electrical education (MBO 3 or 4 diploma, or equivalent in work experience)
- Ideally three years of electrical and preferable with mechanical and or hydraulic, experience in an industrial environment e.g., wind farms, power stations, industrial process plant or similar heavy engineering maintenance environments
- Converter experience (GE, Woodward) is an advantage
- Demonstrable experience with low and high voltage and completed the course NEN3140 and NEN 3180
- Good command of the English language in word and writing.
- Awareness of the importance of safety, health, and the environment in all your work
- Valid driving license.
- Experience of working with laptop and MS software
- Ability to work at heights and confined spaces
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
