Manpower is looking for a sales and customer service employee for an employer in Groningen! 

In your new position as a sales and customer service employee you will be entrusted a variety of responsibilities that will continue to keep your job interesting and challenging. You can expect to perform the following working activities: 

  • Identifying market potential and building new client relationships
  • Increasing the turnover of existing accounts by maintaining and building client relationships
  • Carrying out a responsibility over aftersales and debt management 
  • Analysing the vision, strategy and purchasing policy of accounts
  • Crafting new sales proposals and quotations 
  • Updating internal databases with account details

About the company

Your new employer is an international trading company specialized in the import of electric fencing and animal products for the European market. The firm has a broad distribution network throughout Europe and boasts over 6000 dealers throughout the continent. Your division is focused on maintaining customer contact and adding to the current customer portfolio in the Italian market. More information about the employer will be given at a later stage in the application process. 

Working hours

You will be active at the company from Monday to Friday. The working hours are between 8.00 and 18.00 o’clock. 

Requirements

  • An excellent knowledge of the Italian language, both spoken and written, for communication with customers
  • A minimum of an mbo-4 degree
  • At least two years of experience as a customer service employee or similar
  • A solid understanding of CRM software and Microsoft applications
  • Prior experience in telephone-based sales and acquisition 

Additionally, candidates preferably live in Groningen or the surrounding area, such as Drachten, Veendam, Assen, or Winschoten and have a proficient understanding of the English language. These are, however, not requirements.
