Job description

Do you speak Russian and are you looking for a full-time job at an international chemical company? Manpower has a great opportunity for you at Dow! It requires a Bachelor’s degree or EQF level 6 degree (or higher) and you will be working as a customer service specialist. This includes maintaining and building relationships with Dow clients and comes with a maximum salary of €3,200 per month. Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Russian-speaking customer service specialist for Dow in Terneuzen.

In your position you will become the interface between Dow’s business value chain partners and its customers. Your goal is to achieve the best results and therefor you will be working alongside Logistics, Marketing & Sales and Supply Chain. Obtaining good knowledge of the products, businesses and service offerings within Dow and using this knowledge will allow you to create good customer relationships. Your other tasks are as follows:

  • Coordinating customer account activities
  • Maintaining service levels according to business priorities
  • Addressing issues and implementing solutions
  • Overseeing the order entry process and leading the order fulfilment process for given business(es)
  • Balancing customer requirements and Dow capabilities
  • Following up on orders and guiding these through the Supply Chain partners to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Determining commercial strategies with customers across multiple businesses

For this position we can provide an international hiring package, which makes it easier for you to relocate to and settle in the Netherlands and reimburse specific costs. The package includes:
  • Reimbursement of your flight ticket (if applicable) for the job interview and for relocation if you are start working for Dow
  • Reimbursement of travel costs by car or public transport from the airport to Terneuzen and back, based on a €0.19 per kilometre rate
  • Accommodation for the first six weeks for any new hire 
  • A relocation fee of €3,600.- net to be paid after three months 

The international hiring package is subjected to conditions:
  • You haven’t been working and/or living within a 75 kilometre range of Dow 
  • You must officially register at the local municipality of the town you relocate to

Working hours
In the role of full-time customer service specialist, you will be working Monday through Friday during regular office hours.


  • An EQF level 6 or a Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Excellent command of the English and Russian language (at least C1 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Affinity with new technologies and tools
  • A valid Dutch work permit with a duration of at least nine months or EU-citizenship
  • Ability to apply for a code of conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG)
  • Availability of 40 hours per week

Do you have experience in customer service, or have you previously worked with CRM and/or SAP? Then you'll have an advantage! Living in or near Terneuzen, Hoek, Middelburg or Bergen op Zoom is a bonus, but not mandatory!
