Employment agency Manpower is looking for a customer service specialist with an excellent command of the Italian language for Dow in Terneuzen.

As a customer service specialist at Dow you will be located at Dow Terneuzen Diamond Center, the newly constructed building designed to inspire employees to work efficiently and collaborate easily. Here you will be the link between Dow and its customers and work with different Dow functions. The tasks you will be performing as a customer service specialist are:

  • Executing the order entry process and leading the order fulfilment process for a given business or group of businesses and customers with a high degree of complexity
  • Following up on orders and guiding the order through the supply chain to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of business, products, applications and services
  • Strengthening customer relationships by developing solid understandings, analysing customer needs and gathering market intelligence
  • Coordinating activity at assigned customer accounts, proactively addressing issues and implementing solutions
  • Maintaining service levels according to business priorities

For this position we can provide an international hiring package, which makes it easier for you to relocate to and settle in the Netherlands and reimburse specific costs. The package includes:
  • Reimbursement of your flight ticket (if applicable) for the job interview and for relocation if you are start working for Dow
  • Reimbursement of travel costs by car or public transport from the airport to Terneuzen and back, based on a €0.19 per kilometre rate
  • Accommodation for the first six weeks for any new hire 
  • A relocation fee of €3,600.- net to be paid after three months 

The international hiring package is subjected to conditions:
  • You haven’t been working and/or living within a 75 kilometre range of Dow 
  • You must officially register at the local municipality of the town you relocate to

Working hours
In your role as a customer service specialist, you will be working Monday through Friday during regular office hours.



Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or EQF level 6 (or higher)
  • An excellent command of the English and Italian language (at least C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), due to contact with shareholders
  • At least one year of experience as a customer service employee, customer service specialist or something similar in a B2B environment
  • A valid Dutch work permit that is valid for at least nine months or EU nationality
  • A Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) that shows you don’t have a criminal record
  • Availability of 40 hours per week
     

Living in or near Terneuzen, Goes, Middelburg or Hoek is a bonus, but not mandatory!
