Employment agency Manpower is looking for a customer service specialist for a client in Geleen.

As a customer service representative you are the first point of contact. In this position you ensure a high level of service and in practice this means that you are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Processing incoming orders and handling order changes
  • Managing back-orders
  • Monitoring order blocks and ensuring timely release
  • Mastering data maintenance
  • Communicating and cooperating with several internal stakeholders such as account managers

Working hours
In this full-time position, you will be working Monday through Friday from home during regular office hours. Once permitted in light of the current COVID-19 measures the office in Geleen will be the main location for this position.


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business or similar with at least three years’ experience working as a customer service representative, help desk advisor, customer support agent or a similar position


  • An intermediate vocational education level 4 (mbo-4) with at least five years’ experience working as a customer service representative, help desk advisor, customer support agent or a similar position

In addition to one of these, you also bring the following:

  • Excellent command of the English language due to the international nature of the organization
  • Experience with working with SAP
  • Availability of 40 hours per week
  • A good command of the Dutch language is a plus

Living in or near Geleen, Sittard, Heerlen or Maastricht is a bonus, but not mandatory.
