Employment agency Manpower is looking for a logistics administrator outbound for a company in Venlo.
What will you be doing?

As a logistics administrator outbound your role involves communicating the status of shipments with colleagues in several teams, including customer service, planning and store operations teams. Working well together is essential, because you are responsible for achieving department goals together. Your job also involves investigating incomplete deliveries, checking transport invoices and contacted all parties involved if exceptions occur during transportation. You will also be providing administrative support to the logistics department and support in statistic reviews.

Your working day will also consist of the following tasks:

  • Validating delivery addresses and shipment lists
  • Prioritizing orders in cooperation with warehouse teams
  • Controlling transport invoices, submitting claims and following up on high costs
  • Arranging customers’ pick-ups and special transport
  • Supporting in resolving issues with carriers
  • Communicating with European teams regarding shipments and orders

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position are between 7.00 and 19.00 hrs.



  • Able to work and think at an mbo or intermediate vocational education level
  • At least two years of experience working as a logistics administrator or similar
  • Good knowledge of the English language, because of communication within the company
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Availability of 38 hours per week
  • Preferably some experience with warehouse management system Manhattan

Being able to speak an additional (foreign) language is a plus! Living in or near Venlo, Venray, Sevenum or Panningen is also a bonus, but not mandatory.
