Job description

Employment agency Manpower is looking for English-speaking customer service specialists for Dow in Hoek.

The challenge of customer service is to be at the interface between customers and business value chain partners at Dow. You will also collaborate with Dow functions such as Supply Chain, Marketing & Sales and Logistics to achieve the best possible results. Because of your knowledge of the products, service offerings and businesses Dow has to offer, you can establish solid customer relationships and choose the most suitable and cost-effective solutions. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Analysing customer needs and gathering market intelligence
  • Executing the order entry process and leading the order fulfilment process for given business(es)
  • Coordinating customer account activity, including addressing issues and implementing solutions
  • Maintaining service levels according to business priorities
  • Following up on orders and guiding these through the Supply Chain partners to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Differentiating between customer requirements and Dow capabilities
  • Determining commercial strategies with customers across multiple businesses

Because of the nature of your job, you will work alongside with various departments within Dow, including supply chain planning, commercial and logistics.

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position are during regular office hours from Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • An EQF level 6 degree or Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
  • An excellent command of the English language (at least level C1-level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Availability of 40 hours per week
  • A Dutch work permit that is valid for at least nine months or EU-nationality
  • A certificate of conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) that shows you have not committed any criminal offences
  • Affinity working with new tools and technologies
  • Experience in customer service, with CRM and/or with SAP is preferable but not mandatory!

You should also be a great communicator who is able to establish valuable customer relationships, as well have an aptitude for data and numbers. Your keen eye for details and your persistence, as well as your team-oriented way of working make you a great candidate for Dow! Living in or near Hoek, Terneuzen, Middelburg or Bergen op Zoom is a bonus, but not mandatory! If you are fluent in any other language than English, please let us know during your application.
