Manpower employment agency is looking for fluent Spanish and Italian speakers for the vacancy of customer service representative at Dow Chemical in Terneuzen.

¿Qué vas a hacer?
As a customer service employee you will be working at the customer service department. This department supports clients during the order processes phase: from entering the order in the various systems up to the delivery of the product. The customer service department serves as the connection between the internal organization, clients and third parties, such as suppliers. During an average working day you might be doing the following activities:

  • Manage customer orders through End to End work processes and systems
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the businesses’ products, businesses, applications, and service offerings
  • Strengthen customer intimacy by developing solid relationships, understanding customer needs and gathering market intelligence
  • Coordinate activity at assigned customer accounts, proactively address issues, and apply creativity to develop and implement solutions 
  • Identify and deliver value added services to our customers
  • Pro actively provide differentiated services to our customers by thorough understanding of our service offerings
  • Differentiate between customer requirements and Dow capabilities; choose the best/cost effective solution
  • Have a strong collaboration with various functions (M&E, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales and CFS) to build effective relationships with customers

The Dow Service Centre in Terneuzen, which employs more than 700 talented employees, is the international service provider for the Dow Chemical Comfunpany. Dow’s Service Centre employees represent over 50 different languages and nationalities from all across the world. The Service Centre supports Dow and its joint ventures in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India a wide variety of areas, such as logistics, customer service, finance, human resources, translations and much more. Not only does the Service Centre support clients during their ordering processes, they also employ people who handle tax coordination and HR activities. The Terneuzen location is part of a global service network with offices in Midland (USA), São Paulo (Brazil), Mumbai (India), Shanghai and Tianjin (China).

In this position, you will be working during office hours.
 
¿Que te podemos ofrecer?

  • Gross salary between €2,400.- and €3,200.- per month
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses at €0.19 per km and full reimbursement of Westerschelde tunnel expenses
  • Free access to E-learning platform Studytube via Manpower
  • A full-time job of 40 hours a week
  • A vacancy for a longer period of time
  • Possibility of a permanent contract with Dow Chemical (When you receive a permanent Dow contract you will also get a 13th month salary and a bike plan!)
If you live outside a radius of 75 kilometers from Terneuzen, we can also offer you the following:
  • Reimbursement of your expenses for a job interview (hotel, flight, etc)
  • Reimbursement of your hotel expenses during the first 6 weeks of employment, with a maximum of €80,- a day
  • Relocation fee of €3600,- (to be received after 3 months)
Please note that the relocation package has certain terms and conditions, which will be clarified during the application process.

Requisitos funcionales
To qualify for this job, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

  • You are available for 40 hours per week
  • You have at least 2 years of working experience as a Customer Service experience in a B2B environment, preferably with projects
  • You are fluent in the Spanish and Italian language (at least C1 level)
  • You also have a good command of the English language on B2
  • You have a least a Bachelor degree, EQF level 6 degree or equivalent
  • You have a EU citizenship OR you are a non-EU citizen in possession of a valid residence and work permit
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have experience with CRM and/or SAP
  • You are able to apply for a Code of Good Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG)
