Employment agency Manpower is looking for an accounts payable specialist for Dow Chemical in Terneuzen.

Please note: this is a temporary position with a duration of around six months.
 
Working activities
As an accounts payable specialist at the Dow Service Centre, you will be providing disbursements analysis and reporting support for the Service Centre Procure to Pay (PtP), Accounts Payable (APAY) and Travel and Entertainment (TER) sub-processes. Your advanced analyses and reporting support is intended for compliance and exceptions management purposes. You can expect to perform the following tasks:

  • Providing support for the development of metrics, analyses, and reporting
  • Delivering KPI metrics and scorecard reporting
  • Providing disbursements (APAY and TER) analyses and support
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of disbursement process standards and procedures
  • Supporting analytics for APAY and TER reimbursements
  • Supporting operations compliance and audit reviews of regional APAY and TER processes
  • Performing reporting and analytics to support fact based decision making

Working hours
The working hours in this position are during office hours.
 
What do we offer you?

  • Gross salary between €2,100.- and €2,600.- per month
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses at €0.19 per km
  • Reimbursement of Westerschelde tunnel expenses

  • A full-time job of 40 hours a week
  • Fixed term Manpower contract at the Dow Service Centre
  • Possibility of a permanent contract with Dow Chemical in the long run

Functie-eisen

Job requirements
To qualify for this job, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

  • You hold a minimum of an intermediate vocational level 3 (EQF or MBO 3) degree
  • You have at least 3 years of working experience in Finance, preferably including analytics and reporting experience
  • You have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • You preferably speak another European language
  • You have experience with Microsoft Excel
  • You are available for 40 hours per week
  • You are willing to travel to Terneuzen for work
  • You preferably live in or near Terneuzen, Bergen op Zoom, Goes or Middelburg
  • You have your own means of transportation (bicycle, moped, scooter or car)
  • You are willing to take on a temporary job with a duration of around six months
 
If you have experience with the following, we will consider this a definite plus:
  • Accounts Payable and Travel and Entertainment
  • Shared Services and Service Management
  • SAP ECC, Ariba and other enterprise wide procurement systems
  • Reporting and data base tools (eg. Tableau)
