As a Learning & Development Activity Specialist you are functional aligned to the EMEAI (Europe, Middle East, Africa, India) Talent Management Leader in Dow. You will deliver service to the EMEAI HR Talent managers at country level as well as the EMEAI HR Leadership team and employees for training. Does this sounds interesting to you? Manpower is looking for a learning and development activity specialist for Dow Chemical in Terneuzen.
Working activities
As a Learning & Development Activity Specialist you work at the DBIC (Dow Benelux Integrated Center) Human Resources department to provide and coordinate the support the employees’ international transfer processes. This department plays a significant role in the DOW recruiting process by making a pre-selection of all applicants and functioning as a communication bridge between EMEAI DOW HR and the candidates.  You will be performing the following working activities:

  • Responsible for the virtual EMEAI training facilitation 
  • Function as an English learning coordinator 
  • Report EMEAI GEOAS
  • Create EMEAI Talent pool during people reviews 
  • Report EMEAI Talent profile completion for the countries and EMEAI communication 
  • Follow up EMEAI Educational Assistance Program
  • Coordinate EMEAI Specific Development Program implementation
  • Follow up EMEAI Performance Management during PM Cycle
  • Facilitate virtual sessions (min 50 a year)
  • Organize train the trainer sessions 
  • Demand planning regional and country
  • Cost management for TTT’s and other learning courses
  • Responsible for English learning coordination, purchasing, cost management, planning 
  • Set up GEOAS reporting 
  • Responsible for talent pool creation 
  • Coordinate set up of specific development centres

The working hours for this position are between office hours.
What do we offer you?

  • A gross salary of 2.600 – 3.400 euro per month
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses of 0,19 euro per km
  • Reimbursment of Westerschelde tunnel expenses

To qualify for this job, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

  • You at least have a Bachelor degree
  • You have a minimum of 2 years relevant HR experience
  • You master the English language in speech and writing fluently  (at least on a B2 level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • You are available for 40 hours per week
  • You preferably live up to 90 km from Terneuzen, for example in Goes or Cadzand
  • You have your own way of transportation (bicycle, moped, scooter or car)
  • You are able to apply for a Code of Good Conduct (VOG)
