Are you a strong communicator who enjoys working with customers in an international environment? For AkzoNobel in Sassenheim, we are looking for a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for customers and ensure that orders are processed smoothly and accurately. You will work in an international team and have the opportunity to further develop yourself within a large, professional organization.

🌟 What will you do?
As a Customer Service Representative, you are responsible for the full order-to-cash process and maintaining customer relationships. Your tasks include:
  • Processing customer orders in the ERP system (via email, phone, or e-ordering)
  • Monitoring accurate and timely order processing
  • Communicating with customers regarding deliveries, changes, and inquiries
  • Handling and registering complaints, and thinking along in solutions
  • Coordinating with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and back office
  • Coordinating deliveries with logistics partners
  • Identifying bottlenecks and contributing to process improvements
  • Building product and customer knowledge to better support clients
You act as the key link between customers, logistics, and internal departments.

You will be part of an international team of approximately 20 colleagues, most of whom are based in Sassenheim. Team members are also located in the UK, Italy, and Germany. ⏱️ Working hours & flexibility
  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
  • Full-time (40 hours per week)

header-requirements

  • At least an mbo level of education or equivalent
  • At least one year experience in B2B Customer Service, ideally within an international or logistics-driven environment
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken (an additional language is a plus)
  • Customer-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Able to switch quickly and remain calm under pressure
  • Accurate and solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus (SAP or another system)
