Manpower is looking for a Machine Compliance Specialist for a company in Drachten.

As a Machine Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for CE compliance across the organization
  • Providing practical compliance guidance to engineering teams during machine development and production
  • Reviewing machine designs and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Creating and maintaining technical files and compliance documentation
  • Auditing compliance processes and recommending improvements
  • Leading and participating in risk assessments for new machinery
  • Working closely with engineers to ensure designs meet CE requirements and industry standards
  • Communicating with regulatory authorities and third-party auditors when required
  • Supporting product development initiatives with your expertise in machine safety and compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum of four years of experience in CE compliance, machine safety, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of CE regulations, risk assessments, and technical documentation
  • Experience with industrial automation, machinery, or manufacturing environments
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineering teams
  • Willingness to travel occasionally

Preferred qualifications
  • Knowledge of UL, ETL, CSA, IEC, or ATEX standards
  • Fluent Dutch language skills
  • Experience in an international engineering or R&D environment
