As Application Engineer Personal Protective Equipment, you will play a central role in supporting customers and strengthening safety performance across different industries. You combine technical expertise with customer-focused consulting and act as the bridge between product innovation and real-world application. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Acting as the primary technical advisor on PPE performance, regulations, and European safety standards
  • Conducting on-site evaluations, product demonstrations, and trials at customer locations
  • Analysing customer environments and recommending the most suitable safety solutions
  • Supporting the commercial process with technical proposals and compliance documentation
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, product development, and regulatory teams
  • Delivering training sessions, webinars, and technical content to improve safety awareness

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position are during office hours. The role is fully remote, with up to 50% travel across the Netherlands and Belgium.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience or strong interest in occupational health and safety
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in the Netherlands and Belgium (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers at different levels
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
  • Experience in Safety Engineering (HVK/MVK) is highly preferred
  • Available for 40 hours per week
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the Netherlands and Belgium
