Employment agency Manpower is looking for someone with at least one year of customer service experience who is looking for a (temporary) job at an internationally-oriented company.
Please note: this is a temporary position with a duration of six months.

What will you be doing?
At the Dow Service Centre your workday will consist mainly of supporting clients during the process of placing orders. Whether it’s entering orders in various systems to checking the delivery of products, you are the link between the internal organisation, clients, and third parties including suppliers.
Your working day will include the following tasks:

  • Controlling and managing orders
  • Addressing the right people to solve problems when necessary
  • Cooperating with other customer service teams, planners, logistics operators and administrative employees
What’s in it for you?
  • Gross monthly salary between €2,100.- and €2,600.-

The Dow Service Centre in Terneuzen, which employs more than 700 talented employees, is the international service provider for the Dow Chemical Company. The Service Centre is not located on the Dow Chemical plant, but in the city of Terneuzen itself. Dow’s Service Centre employees represent over 50 different languages and nationalities from all across the world. The Service Centre supports Dow and its joint ventures in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India a wide variety of areas, such as logistics, customer service, finance, human resources, translations and much more. Not only does the Service Centre support clients during their ordering processes, they also employ people who handle tax coordination and HR activities. The Terneuzen location is part of a global service network with offices in Midland (USA), São Paulo (Brazil), Mumbai (India), Shanghai and Tianjin (China).

Job requirements
Our ideal candidate for this position meets the following requirements:

  • You have completed intermediate vocational education (MBO or EQF level 3) or higher
  • You worked in customer service in an international organization for at least one year
  • You are fluent in Swedish (at least C1 level)
  • You are also fluent in Finnish (at least C1 level)
  • You have a good to excellent command of the English language (B2 level minimum)
  • You are available to work 40 hours per week (32 hours is also an option!) 
  • You are willing to travel to Terneuzen for work
  • You are willing to accept a temporary position with a duration of six months
  • You preferably live in Terneuzen, Vlissingen, Hoek or Bergen op Zoom
  • You possess an EU citizenship OR you are a non-EU citizen with a valid residence and work permit
