In that case, employment agency Manpower has an attractive job prospect for you! We are currently looking for an experienced back office sales specialist for one of our clients in Almere.

Please note: in this position you will be hired directly by our client!
Working activities
Your objective as a back office sales specialist is to direct sales and sales process support to the client’s European Area Managers, distributors, dealers and agents. You will also ensure that Area Managers can uphold productivity by providing them with the right tools. You will also be the back-up of the department assistant during holidays.
Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Coordinating, receiving and checking incoming orders for all standard products and options
  • Coordinating sales enquiries with Area Managers
  • Maintaining electronic ordering system
  • Coordinating and maintaining products and options data in Master database
  • Analysing the demand followed by preparing forecast and production orders
  • Running sales contracts and checking prices and delivery conditions before issuing towards the assigned distributors
  • Coordinating and checking completion dates of products
  • Taking care of stock taking MOL and own warehouse and reporting to accounting
  • Providing updated information on daily base about the logistical aspects of orders towards distributors, incl. estimated shipping dates of completed products
  • Running invoices at time of shipment and checking prices and delivery conditions prior to issuing towards assigned Distributors
  • Coordinating and forwarding distributor complaints to the Quality Manager
  • Keeping Area Managers updated about communication with distributors and providing them with all relevant business data
  • Maintaining daily communication with assigned distributors and represent Area Managers
  • Executing and coordinating special projects requested by Department Manager

Job requirements
To qualify for this job, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

  • You have completed a technical or economical education on an EQF level 3 or MBO level 4 or higher
  • You have at least 3 years of back-office working experience in a technical business-to-business environment
  • You have can communicate on a professional level in English
  • You have a business level command of the German language
  • You are experienced in working with modern software systems
  • You are available for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
  • You live up to 40 minutes from Almere, for example in Lelystad, Naarden or Hilversum
