As a Logistics Planner at Canon in Venlo, you are the link between suppliers, production and logistics. Thanks to your planning and coordination, goods flows continue to move worldwide. Interested? Read on!

You will work closely with suppliers and various internal departments to ensure deliveries take place according to schedule.

Your tasks include:
  • Managing inbound logistics processes and supplier relationships
  • Placing, monitoring and managing orders through SAP and EDI systems
  • Monitoring deliveries and resolving deviations or delays
  • Maintaining contact with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding order status and delivery times
  • Checking incoming goods and documentation
  • Identifying improvement opportunities within the supply chain
  • Maintaining accurate administration in ERP systems

You will be working at Canon, a global leader in digital imaging, industrial printing technologies and business services. From the location in Venlo, high-end printing systems are developed, produced and distributed to customers around the world.

You will join the Supply Chain Management department within Manufacturing Machines. Here, you will work together with logistics engineers and planners who ensure the optimal availability of parts and reliable delivery of finished products every day.

Working hours
You will work from Monday to Friday.
  • Start time between 07:30 and 09:00
  • End time between 16:00 and 17:30

  • Completed MBO level 4, Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree, for example in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Administration or Business Administration
  • Good command of the English language
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyse data and act upon it
  • Affinity with process improvement and supply chain processes
  • Good communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills
Preferred:
  • Experience in a similar logistics or supply chain position
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
  • Command of the Dutch and/or German language
