Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Payroll Representative in Terneuzen.

By nature, this job requires a substantial amount of coordination with a variety of internal- and external stakeholders where accountability and ownership of data and processes are key. 

You can expect the following task in this position:
 

  • Process Payroll, Time & Absence, and Data Management efficiently
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure high accuracy in information processing
  • Guarantee accurate and punctual payments to employees and authorities
  • Uphold a "best in class" compliance landscape, adapting to changes
  • Collaborate closely with other HR departments
  • Exchange salary data with payroll providers and validate for accuracy
  • Execute timely payments to employees and authorities
  • Adhere to internal control & compliance frameworks and participate in audits
  • Address employee and leader queries regarding payroll issues
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and undertake additional duties as necessary

Working hours
You will work from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 18:00.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience in Payroll, HR, or Finance preferred
  • Fluency in English; good verbal and reading skills in German
  • Proficiency in Workday, ServiceNow, MS Office & SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of another European language is advantageous
  • Ability to navigate organizational interdependencies and work across cultures
  • Experience in high-volume operational environments
  • Familiarity with internal controls and audit participation preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities effectively
