Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Advisor for DSM in Delft.

In this rewarding function, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality and food safety compliance of purchased materials (ingredients, packaging, and service providers), focusing on suppliers
  • Implement an effective supplier complaint handling process, including measures to prevent recurrent complaints
  • Review, approve, and maintain relevant supplier information in the F&B Product Information System (SF 360)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to challenge the content of Standard Product Information
  • Manage and address issues related to raw material, packaging suppliers, and service providers
  • Act as a project member for initiatives related to the selection and implementation of new raw materials, including packaging
  • Conduct (risk-based) supplier qualification audits, ensuring compliance with DSM F&B and food quality standards
  • Monitor and follow up on audit results, ensuring the closure of non-conformities
  • Perform risk assessments and provide support to R&D and Product Management in clearing new concepts

Working hours
The working hours in this position are during regular office hours. You will work on location at least three days a week.


  • At least a Bachelor’s degree (chemistry, food technology, microbiology or similar) At least three years of operational Quality Assurance experience and auditing in the Food industry (manufacturing or business) 
  • Relevant expertise in Food Hygiene standards and HACCP systems (e.g., GFSI (FSSC 22000, BRCGS and IFS) together with basic knowledge of Halal and Kosher certification
  • Knowledge of stakeholder management is important
  • Availability of at least 32 hours per week
  • Affinity with food processing and technical knowledge of production processes to ensure sound technical judgment on quality issues
  • Good knowledge of the English language, because you will travel within Europe once every three months

Furthermore, audit experience is a plus. Just as supplier and raw material experience, and a valid driving license.
