Job description

  • Short-term troubleshooting is the order of the day: repairing broken links, placing new content and adjusting the existing web environment structure.
  • Supporting management of website content within the TYPO3 CMS (Content Management System) environments of the Library theme Research Data Services and 4TU.ResearchData websites.
  • Contribute to the SEO strategy (Search Engine Optimization) by making well-considered adjustments to the website structure.
  • Monitor the user friendliness of these websites.
  • Work according to the website guidelines and housestyle of TU Delft and TU Delft Library.
  • Familiar with Photoshop / Adobe InDesign
  • Create new content using for example Photoshop or similar design applications for use on event pages and web forms.


About the company

To support the Research Data Management Services (RDS) and 4TU.ResearchData teams of the TU Delft Library with website content management and to carry out extensive customization projects in the coming period, we are seeking a part time student employee (~8h a week).



Requirements

  • Ideally the candidate will have experience with TYPO3 CMS, or is able to learn a new CMS quickly
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop for images on event pages
  • Fluency in both English and Dutch.
  • We anticipate that the above mentioned tasks will take ~8h/per week.
  • Communicative / responsive approach to interaction with colleagues
  • Team player who is also able to work well independently (especially given current ‘working from home’ circumstances), Takes ownership / initiative to suggest changes & improvements (from content as well as website structure / layout perspectives)
  • Able to organize their work / study balance
  • Internal drive / motivation to take up and complete agreed projects and tasks
