As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure that production equipment remains in excellent condition. You perform preventive maintenance, resolve breakdowns and contribute to improving machine reliability together with your colleagues.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and basic electrical faults
• Identifying root causes of technical issues and implementing sustainable solutions
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals and electrical schematics
• Replacing defective components and coordinating spare parts with suppliers
• Registering maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Communicating maintenance activities during shift handovers
• Collaborating with suppliers and internal departments to resolve technical issues
• Contributing to continuous improvements that increase machine reliability and production performance

You will join an international manufacturing organisation with a highly automated production facility in the Venlo region. The maintenance department consists of experienced technicians, planners and supervisors who work closely together to maximise equipment availability. English is the primary language used within the maintenance team.

Working hours
You will work in a four-shift rotation. The organisation has plans to transition to a two-shift schedule in the future.

• Technical qualification at vocational Level 3 or Level 4
• Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Service Technician, Breakdown Technician or similar
• Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to diagnose basic electrical faults and read electrical schematics
• Experience within manufacturing, production, logistics or another industrial environment
• Good understanding of industrial automation and machine operation
• Excellent command of the English language (mandatory)
• Hands-on attitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Willingness to work in a four-shift rotation

Nice to have:

• Experience with Siemens-controlled equipment
• Experience with CMMS software
• German or another European language
• Low-voltage electrical safety certification
• Experience working with a wide range of production technologies
